60th Anniversary Toolkit
SFU is officially celebrating its 60th anniversary from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. While there are no specific kick-off events planned, those of you planning events and activities during this timeframe can use this toolkit to enhance awareness of this milestone. Please consider using these toolkit materials to develop specific 60th anniversary content or programming for your new or existing events (based on available resources and budget).
Anniversary key messages can be woven into speeches or invitation text, anniversary graphics can be used on event invitations or event slides/banners or curated archival photos could be featured in your event slideshow.
If you are considering how your event or activity could be linked to the 60th anniversary celebrations and would like an opportunity to brainstorm or get feedback on your ideas, please feel free to reach out to Sue Porter, Director of Ceremonies and Events, at sporter@sfu.ca.

Usage guidelines
- Avoid using on communications that will be available after September 2026.
- Avoid placing the wordmark near the SFU logo, prefer the opposite or lower side of your layout.
- Use the red version on light backgrounds.
- Use the white version on dark backgrounds.
