If you are interested in doing a work placement for course credit within the School for the Contemporary Arts Internship Program in Fall 2025 or a subsequent semester, please consider attending one of our upcoming online information sessions. We will discuss how to search for practicums and internships, the registration process for these placements, what will be expected of you during your placement, and how the Internship Program can help you gain work experience and advance toward graduation.

A brief explanation of the internship program can be found HERE.

NOTE: CA304 prerequisite is waived! CA304 Professional Practices is listed as a prerequisite for CA306 and CA406 practicums and CA307 and CA407 internships. As CA304 is currently unavailable to students, this requirement will be waived for students who have the required amount of course credit.

If you have previously enrolled in a practicum, or you have been admitted to the SCA Internship Program on MyExperience, you do not need to attend an information session again. (You are still welcome to attend if you want to.)

REMEMBER: Students cannot self-register in CA306, CA406, CA307, CA407, or CA827. You must have a confirmed work placement before I can register you. More information will be available at the info sessions.
