Changes to Parking Rates

Starting January 2025, SFU introduced a new parking pricing structure designed to provide greater consistency in parking costs across all SFU campuses. This update includes changes to the monthly parking rates at SFU Surrey at Central City (SRYC) and SFU Surrey Engineering (SRYE) parking lots over the next two years.

These changes reflect historical differences in parking rates, with SRYC previously priced lower than other campus lots. In comparison, Burnaby campus parking lots’ 2025 rates will average $84 for outdoor lots and $110 for indoor lots (varies by parking lot).

By 2026, both SRYC and SRYE rates will be $80/month.
