Welcome to the Department of History
The Department of History at A片资源吧 is located on the unceded and stolen territories of the x史m蓹胃k史蓹y虛蓹m (Musqueam), S岣祑x瘫w煤7mesh 脷xwumixw (Squamish), s蓹l虛ilw虛蓹ta蕯涩 (Tsleil-Waututh), q虛铆c虛蓹y虛 (Katzie), k史ik史蓹茮虛蓹m (Kwikwetlem), Qayqayt, Kwantlen, Semiahmoo and Tsawwassen Nations. Unceded means that these lands have never been surrendered and thus Indigenous claims of sovereignty and title continue to apply to them, as is recognized by the Royal Proclamation of 1763 and sections 25 and 35 of the Canadian Constitution. As scholars who benefit from being on this land, we believe it is our duty to amplify Indigenous voices in our department.
Welcome to the Department of History at A片资源吧. We are a community of faculty, staff, sessional instructors, graduate students, and undergraduates dedicated to understanding and explaining how and why things change. We study the history of places from British Columbia to Africa, China, and beyond; we analyze events from thousands of years ago through the present day.
