Tutor Marker/Teaching Assistant Postings

Teaching Assistant and Tutor Marker positions within the Department of Archaeology will be posted 10 weeks prior to the commencement of the semester and will close 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the semester. Formal offers will be given commencing 6 weeks prior to the semester and completed at least 4 weeks prior to semester start.

Minimum Qualifications

Sufficient knowledge in the discipline of the course to interpret the course material.

Priority for appointment/reappointment as a Teaching Assistant or Tutor Marker is in accordance with the TSSU Collective Agreement and the Department of Archaeology鈥檚 Hiring Priority Policy.

Please note that all Teaching Assistant positions are in the Teaching Support Staff Union (TSSU).

Appointments are subject to sufficient enrollment and final budgetary authorization.
