Dr. Andrew Park receives Dean of Graduate Studies Convocation Medal
As one of SFU's most outstanding graduate students from the , Dr. Andrew Park is recognized with the Dean of Graduate Studies Convocation Medal. On behalf of SFU, we congratulate Dr. Park on his outstanding achievements.

Dr. Park doctoral thesis, 鈥溾 explores the pathways taken from scientific invention to tangible innovation. Dr. Park鈥檚 research aims to inform scientist-entrepreneurs, scholars, policy makers and university leadership on how to more effectively translate breakthrough invention to improved economic, health and social outcomes.
Dr. Park has published extensively throughout his many years of study but his contribution also extends beyond his written thesis. Along with many academic achievements and published works, Dr. Park is a well-regarded instructor and reviewer and is part of a national network of scholars investigating novel innovation frameworks to foster strong economic development in Canada.

Dr. Park is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria.
